Australia 2
Red Knights Australia 2 was formed on the 3rd December 2010. The original members were from Bendigo and the surrounding areas of central Victoria. Our chapter patch was created in 2016 and shows a gold mine poppet head and the number 2 ghosted over the poppet head to link back to the rich gold mining history of Bendigo.
Bendigo is an Australian city in north-central Victoria. The city is located in the near the geographical centre of the state and approximately 150 kilometres (93 mi) north-west of Melbourne, the state capital. As of 2022, Bendigo has a population of 103,818, making it Australia’s 19th-largest city by population.
Gold was officially discovered on Bendigo Creek at the north-eastern boundary near Ravenswood in October 1851. The creek had been named “Bendigo Creek” after a local shepherd, nicknamed for the English bare-knuckle prize-fighter William Abednego “Bendigo” Thompson. The area was transformed in less than a year as tens of thousands of people arrived during the great gold rush in 1852.

Our members have won many awards and have been elected to positions both Nationally and Internationally. Every year we run the Keith Hamilton Sale and District Toy Run on the 2nd Saturday in December and welcome all Red Knights to join us on this ride, making a difference to the kids for Christmas.

Australia 18
Stood up on the 16th of September 2016, Aus 18 is located in the Australian Capital Territory Region, with members scattered across four states (ACT, VIC, NSW & QLD). We are also the host chapter for the Red Knights contingent that attend the annual Wall to Wall ride. Andy Young (Aus 6) officiated the election of Charter office bearers and other ceremonial functions, and we began with a total roster of 12 members.
Charter office bearers at the time where:
• President – Tim Lourie
• Vice-President – Michael James
• Secretary – Mike Kelly • Treasurer – Steve Walker
• Road Captain – Phillip Cottrell
• Quartermaster – Aymon Hollingsworth
Some of you who have attended past Wall to Wall rides, will remember the lovely gentleman who has prepared your welcome BBQ for the last 5 or 6 years. Boots, would you believe it, was a firefighter in New Zealand, and in September, along with Tony Adie, he joined the Chapter. The chapter has since been involved in various charity rides within the ACT Region, including The Black Dog ride, Pink Ribbon ride, Wall to Wall and the ACT Toy Run.

Australia 19
Chapter 19 Latrobe Valley was raised from members of Chapter 6, Sale.
Chapter 19 was formed in Latrobe Valley, Victoria on the 12th December 2017. Our Chapter is designed in the part of the Valley’s history, the Power industry, hence the design of the Dredge wheel is the outer part of the design.
Chapter 19 is only a relatively small Chapter with only around 17
members.
We support the Community by fundraising (Bunnings) to support our main charity; the Gippsland Motorcyclists Toy run, and another which is picked at our AGM each year.

Formed in Somerville, Victoria on the 23rd of September 2017. A new beginning for an existing chapter
Red Knights Australia 20 has gotten a new lease of life. On January 7, 2023, a meeting was held to try to revive the chapter. Thanks to Andy Young, the Region 8 Australian Representative, who chaired the meeting, and to Australia 1 President Daniel (Tinman) Paynter and Australia 6 Quartermaster Matthew (Matt) Lovelace for their support at the meeting.
It was a successful outcome for the chapter. On the day, we had 4 current members of the Red Knights and 3 New members. Since the meeting we have 4 new members join the chapter.
All but one of the 5 office office-bearing positions were filled on the day: President, Vice President, Secretary/Treasurer and Quartermaster, with Road Captain to be decided at a later date.

Australia 22
Formed in Ararat, Victoria on the 3rd of March 2022.
Red knights Australian 22 was formed on the 3 of April 2022 at Ararat fire station. The original members where from Ararat,Hamilton, Warrnambool, Portland. Our patch is a koala in turnout grea with crossed axes. Ararat, Djabwurrung is a town in the Central Highlands region in Victoria, Australia, about 198 kilometres (120 mi) west of Melbourne, on the Western Highway on the eastern slopes of the Ararat Hills and Cemetery Creek valley between Victoria’s Western District and the Wimmera. With the Grampians as the back dropGrampians National Park is a nature reserve in Victoria, Australia. It’s known for its sandstone mountains, wildflowers and wildlife including echidnas and wallabies. Near the village of Halls Gap, the Brambuk Aboriginal Cultural Centre gives insight into local Aboriginal history and rock art. Trails lead to waterfalls like towering MacKenzie Falls and lookouts such as the Balconies, with views of the Victoria Range. The discovery of gold in 1857 during the Victorian gold rush transformed Ararat it into a boomtown which continued to prosper until the turn of the 20th century, after which it has steadily declined in population. It was proclaimed as a city on 24 May 1950. After a decline in population over the 1980s and 90s, there has been a small but steady increase in the population, and it is the site of many existing and future, large infrastructure projects, including the Hopkins Correctional Facility. Currently members are from far and wide western Victoria, Strathalbyn, South Australia, Adelaide, Lara, Werribee, Sale, Stawell, Dromana.
